The name K'iin Yéetel Há means "sun and water" in Maya. This handsome hotelito overlooks a colorful expanse of Laguna Bacalar and guests can watch the sun rise each morning over the lake and gaze at the stars in the spectacular night sky.

 

Kiin Yeetel Ha, BacalarK'iin Yéetel Há is constructed of local wood and stone, and offers four Mini-suites: two upstairs and two down. Each suite has tile floors, lots of windows and ventilation, private bath, and a sitting area with a small refrigerator, television, table, couch and chairs situated in an airy nook looking out on the lake. Each suite has plenty of lighting, two queen-size beds, hammock hooks, a small dresser, and bedside stand.

 

Rooms cost $450 pesos per night in high season and $350 pesos low season for two people. Each additional person costs $75 pesos more per night. Electricity and water are available 24 hours a day. There is a kitchen for guest use and visitors may purchase cold water and soft drinks at the hotel.

 

K'iin Yéetel Há is located just 800 meters north of the entrance to Bacalar and 500 meters south of the Reforma road. Look for our sign on the lake side of the road; there is ample private parking just 100 meters off the highway at the hotel.
