The Casita and the Palapa are located on Ginny's large property a bit north of the town of Bacalar. Offering unexcelled privacy and tranquility, both the Casita and the Palapa sit directly on the water and allow guests wonderful sunrises in a natural setting. Extensive lawn and gardens provide fresh fruits, beautiful flowers, and ample bird life. The two houses share a beautiful dock and palapa, perfect for swimming, sunning, or relaxing in the shade.
The Palapa has a kitchen with stove and refridgerator, deck, loft with king bed, and bath with shower. A living room with large windows faces the lake and provides comfortable seating, including hammocks. A shaded porch-patio offers outdoor sitting, relaxation and a great lake view.
The air conditioned, well-appointed Casita is decorated with Ginny's treasures, offers a queen bed and sitting area with trundle bed, deck overlooking the laguna, tv and dvd player (dvd's available in main house from Ginny), and includes a small refrigerator, microwave and hot plate.
Both dwellings have access to the lake for swimming and kayaks are available for exploring the area.
