This new, gracious second-story studio apartment with private entrance overlooks tranquil, colorful Laguna Bacalar just 25 meters away. Casa Vista Magico is suitable for one or two people and includes large palapa-covered patio, dock and gardens, and a 270 degree vista with 160 degrees of lake view. Comfortable king bed (or two twins) with large windows for view and ventilation. Tiled floors throughout with local hardwood furniture, doors and trim. Comfortablefull bath with tiled shower, floors, and walls.

Full kitchen with all utensils, four-burner stove with oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, fridge with freezer, and breakfast bar seating two. Ample closet and storage space; hardwood bedside stands with lamps and storage plus floor safe for documents and valuables. The kitchen-bedroom-living area connects by door to the huge outside patio (part covered by palapa roof and part open to the sun), with dining table, chairs, hammock, lights and electricity, plenty of seating in sun or shade, and stunning vistas up and down Laguna Bacalar and of the rising sun and moon.

Palapa-roofed dock with hammock and bench just steps away makes for super swimming in the lake's crystal-clear waters or it's just a great place for hanging out. Kayaks available for a fee. Private, gated parking; gardens and grounds surround the apartment. Located on Avenue Costera only 300 feet south of Hotel Laguna Bacalar, with its comfortable bar, restaurant and wireless Internet; plus Cenote Azul (2 km south) and Restaurant Aluxes (2 km north) are close by for meals, drinks, and swimming.

Monthly rental November through April $490 USD/week; three-day minimum at $79 USD per day. Maximum two people. High season (Easter and Christmas seasons) minimum one-week rental. Occupied until November 22nd; now taking reservations for November and December 2008 plus all of 2009.
