Pharmacies in Bacalar are, curiously, found on 7th Avenue between 20th and 30th streets. Most are open seven days a week and carry a variety of first aid supplies, medicines, and common pharmaceutical products. Generally speaking, for narcotics and less common pharmaceuticals, a trip to a pharmacy in Chetumal (such as that associated with the Carranza Clinic) is required.
