Experience the tropical lowland jungle on land and by water, in close contact with nature. Our Jungle and Kayak Tour gives you beautiful tropical lowland jungle. pure fresh air, exotic  animals (parrots, toucans, chachalakas, agouti, opossum, deer, as well as lizards, snakes, and other wildlife) and delicious fresh fruits of the season. Kayak through the crystal-clear waters of Laguna Bacalar and up its tributary to cenote Xul Ha. This is a beautiful, tranquil, and extraordinary adventure.

We start at the main square of this Pueblo Magico and visit the 18th Century Fort of San Felipe – built to protect early colonists from pirate raids and later seized by rebel Maya during the caste wars. The museum at the Fort is a wonderful way to discover and learn about this history. Next, a visit to the Church of San Joaquin adds more to the story. Finally, visitors see firsthand the role the lake played in the lives of the Maya, in historical times and the present. Join the Tour and discover why Laguna Bacalar is called the “lake of seven colors.”
