Explore beautiful Laguna Bacalar the way it has been explored for over two thousand years -- silently by boat. With a knowledgeable captain, try our fast catamaran, planing sailboat, 22" keelboat, or 17' stable, gentle wooden sailboat. Most people enjoy our afternoon sunset sail; 2 ½ hours of majestic colors and hidden coves for only $250 pesos for two; $50 pesos more for each additional person. Watch the changing kaleidoscope of Laguna Bacalar's wonderful colors as the birds fly across the lake to congregate in the islands at sunset.
  
Want more? You could spend a night anchored near Bird Island in our Camp Cruiser -- $350 pesos for two. Larger groups may be accomodated with an additional boat; please contact us about pricing and availability. [Note: reservations for overnights must be in place by noon the day before you want to sail.]

Canoes and kayaks make exploring the lake as up-close and personal as you can get, at whatever pace you want. Backwater birding, cenote exploring, time on secluded lake side beaches, perfect swimming are yours. Kayaks cost $50 pesos per hour for single seat; $75 per hour double seat. Canoes are $75 pesos per hour. Paddles are included. Personal flotation devices are madatory on all boating excursions; we have child-sized PFDs!

Maybe you'd prefer to explore the town of Bacalar and the lake shore by bike. We have maps of the town and the lake plus good advice on where to go and what to see. Rental rates on our almost-new mountain bikes: $100 pesos for 12 hours; $200 pesos for 24 hours; $500 pesos for 3-day rental; $750 pesos 6-day rental with 7th day free!
