The magic of Story Telling

We invite the entire commuity of Balacar to join us on saturaday the 30th of august at 7pm in the town square to hear story telling. waking our memory!

There will be four Mayan storytellers from Chunhuhub and Felipe Carrillo Puerto who will entertain us. The event will not be in english

5pm August 28 Hotel Rancho Encantado 3k north of Bacalar in The Cathedral. Lite supper will be provided

There will be an informational presentation at Hotel Rancho Encantado by Dr. Jerry "River" Kaster and Jorge Chavez de la Pena about The future of the Laguna Bacalar and the surrounding area focusing on Ecotourism, Sustainable Development and the Environmental Impact. This is a fund raising event to help support the efforts you will hear about at the presentation. Please try to come if you can.
